Terms of service
Last updated 16 October 2026
These terms are between you and Shubhankar Sharma, sole proprietor, India, who operates PayeeGuard.
What PayeeGuard is
A tool to check payment-change requests, organise call-back verification and approvals, keep records, and compare payment files with verified details. It does not move money, hold funds, or access your bank account.
No guarantee
Risk scores are based on signals that fraudsters can avoid, and a real supplier's mailbox can be compromised. A "low" risk result does not mean an email is genuine. You remain responsible for deciding whether to pay, for following your own procedures, and for the accuracy of what you enter. PayeeGuard is not legal, insurance or financial advice.
Your responsibilities
- Have a lawful basis to store your payees' details and tell them you use PayeeGuard where required.
- Keep your login secure and remove people who leave.
- Don't use PayeeGuard to collect bank details under false pretences, or to test fraud techniques against others.
Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew until cancelled. See the refund and cancellation policy. During the founding beta all features are free; we'll give at least 14 days' notice before billing starts.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, and we are not liable for indirect losses or for payments you make. Nothing limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will notify account owners of material changes. You can delete your account any time. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.
